Preamble

This Gigantic Project called Nigeria became an independent country on October 1, 1960.

Nigeria is the largest and most populous black Nation on the face of the earth. A country truly blessed by the Almighty God with great human and material resources. A nation with the potential of becoming the greatest country in the world was the dream of our founding fathers.

However, sixty-three years after independence, we cannot sincerely beat our chests and say with all confidence that Nigeria has attained the dreams of our founding fathers. Several years of unstable leadership and lack of unity of purpose have left our dear country still grappling to attain the desired enviable height, which our heroes past had fervently prayed and wished for her several years ago.

This great Political Movement is indeed a direct result of the burning desire of patriotic Nigerians of like minds, destiny and common commitment to the same lofty ideals, dreams and aspirations of our heroes to see this giant of Africa roar into exceptional greatness.

NOW THEREFORE having solemnly resolved to give to Nigerians the exemplary Leadership of our dream, We members of the Action Alliance do hereby make, enact and give to ourselves this Constitution as a spring board for achieving the lofty ideals for which this great political party was formed.
